Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. I had a pretty bad experience at my last clinic, so I decided to give Westbury Smile Center a try for my extraction. The office is immaculate, child-friendly, and everyone there is very personable. They made my usual nervous self fear free while visiting this practice. Everyone from the front desk to the support staff hidden in the back is so welcoming and kind. They call you back before you hardly have a chance to sit down. The cleaning, exam, and x-rays were all done with such professionalism and skill. Dr. Sandhu is just incredible. Dr. Sandhu and the assistant do an excellent job keeping you relaxed. The doctor does a comprehensive job explaining everything. My experience during my extraction was practically painless, and I am very thankful that I had this done at Westbury Smile Center. If you are looking for a clinic that refuses to gouge you when it is not necessary and provide top quality of care, this is your place! Thank you for everything you do.

Dr. Borgella simply went above and beyond, they are that amazing. Boy have I learned a lot about other dental offices in the Bronx region. After going to several other dental offices in 2016 I vowed to change my insurance back just so that I could come back to Reginald Borgella DDS and it was the best decision ever. Their staff is professional, kind, informed, and friendly. They know what they're doing and are honest about what's going on with your dental health. As a great example, the dental office I went to three months ago told me I had 4 cavities that needed fillings; here I was told that I only had 2 small ones. I just got back from filling those 2, without lidocaine and without pain! A seamless experience - I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Borgella is the dentist you want to go to. Where the other dentists just wanted to slap on a nightguard, they did a thorough assessment and showed me better options, even figuring out the main cause of my tmj, that other dentists/orthodontists didn't realize before. Making appointments at Dr. Borgella’s is a breeze and those staff at the front desk are so great. Everyone working here makes you feel cared for and truly does what they can to make you comfortable. The waiting room is also super comfy and relaxed.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

The dentist, hygienist and staff at Everlasting Smiles Dental are all so considerate and warm. They explain everything from how they do a procedure to the cost to my treatment options. They make sure they do what I want before working on my mouth. I still don’t love going to the dentist, but Dr. Afridi makes it so much better. If you live in Glen Oaks, give them a call.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Richard Kaufman! My brother is handicapped and has diabetes, so he requires extra care. It is very important that he has a gentle and compassionate dentist who is willing to work with him. Dr. Kaufman is that dentist for us. He is very willing to listen to all of our concerns and does a great job on my brother's dental care. Dr. Kaufman did a great job monitoring my brother's healing process. So far he is healing very well, and there have not been any additional complication. Personally, I've been to seven different dentists in the past 20 years. One of my previous dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and just get dentures. Dr. Kaufman said this was absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implants, so he helps me devise a treatment plan that was a whole lot less drastic. I am highly satisfied with his work and Incredibly grateful that I have found such a wonderful dentist and friend. Doctor Frank Perry and his team have always been polite, kind, professional and provide absolutely great dental care. This is a great dentist in Oakland Gardens NY. They really care about their patients, you and your dental health are their number one priority. They are easy to talk to and want to get to know you and your dental health. This helps him understand what treatments you’ll need and how to prevent future issues. His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. My comfort was their top priority, and my teeth look great thanks to them. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

BH Franklin Dental has a great staff. I’m very impressed with the services I received. I have a complicated dental history, and they handled it well. Dr. Babayev is very efficient and knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The hygienists are very thorough. I would certainly recommend BH Franklin Dental.

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. While on vacation, I was experiencing some discomfort due to having seeds/food stuck in my gums. I looked online and realized Dr. Mangiaracina was open on Monday. I called a couple minutes into their hours of operation, and thankfully, they were able to fit me in. We were back on the road in less than an hour. I appreciated the gentle, professional care and advice I received.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

AMAZING DENTISTRY BY AMAZING PEOPLE!!! Dr. Isakharov is an exceptional dentist and the staff at Elite Dental is just outstanding! I was having a throbbing toothache from a cracked molar and was really dreading seeing the dentist. There was a little pinch from the numbing injection and then not a thing from the extraction. It was over before I could even freak out!! Sometimes you wonder about some of the reviews you read, but I assure these guys are on top of their game! I’m very fortunate to have discovered Dr. Sandhu and Queens Dental Care. I’ve been to 3 dental offices in 3 years, but I’ve found my dental home. The first dentist I went to chipped my tooth during a cleaning and wouldn’t even admit it. I didn’t even know he’d chipped my front tooth until I got to my car. I went back in, and he fixed it, but that fix recently fell off. Other places charged way too much to fix it. I went to Queens Dental Care. The entire staff was kind, informative, and helpful. They are also very affordable. I’m a hairstylist, so I appreciate other “artist.” Dr. Sandhu is one such artist. I said the fixed tooth was beautiful. She and I are both proud of her work. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Dr. Sandhu.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

C K Galdieri has an amazingly friendly staff. Clean and well organized just begin to describe office. Dr. Galdieri did my exam and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me the REAL truth about my dental health. I'm glad I didn't believe those other frauds in Elmwood Park who claimed I needed $15k worth of work. Dr. Galdieri said I didn't need any of the things that those others said I would need – no upsells, straight forward and incredible service.

I’ve never actually taken the time to write an online review, but I had a great experience at Lucky Dental, so I thought I’d give it a try. Dr. Azbel is very accommodating and personable. The office is well kept and has the latest equipment. Dr. Azbel provides the best quality customer service one could ask for. The staff takes their time to do things correctly. I’m normally pretty leering of dentists, so I’m glad to have found one that I actually enjoy going to. It was a painless experience. Overall, I’d say Lucky Dental is a great practice. I intend to be a regular patient. They offer good rates, so be sure to ask about any promotions if you call.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

Dr. Shay has been my dentist for the last 3 years. My husband and brother are patients now too. We really like how professional and friendly the staff is, it is a nice change of pace for New York. Shay Dental is clean and really roomy. And, I love how bright and inviting the waiting room is! The office staff does a really nice job explaining billing and answering any questions we have. I never feel like I am being pushed for services that I can’t afford. I really appreciated that they take pictures of the work that they do and then show it on the screen and explain it in a way that you can understand. They get busy though, so make sure you book your appointments in advance. I highly recommend Dr. Shay… he is great and you will be pleased with his work.

Armstrong Dental Studio is very clean and they have the latest and greatest in technology in dentistry, including a massage dental chair. This team really cares about you, and they’re super friendly. They explain all treatment cost and the options for procedures thoroughly before they start working to help ensure your comfort. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. Dr. Margaret Drozdowski Maule attended St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. During this time, she oversaw many technological advances and agency expansions, as well as the operations of the dental department. She was named one of the "40 under 40" outstanding graduates of the University of Connecticut in 2008. By 2011, she graduated from the Johnson School at Cornell University with an MBA degree.

I highly recommend Dr. Lerner's office. I have gone here for both regular teeth cleanings and fillings. I haven’t felt pain during any of my appointments.
