Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Merit Scholarship as well as the Clark Foundation Scholarship, among other honors. Before joining the Connecticut Dental Group, he was a consulting dentist with MetLife Insurance Company.

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. Sure, no one really likes going to the dentist, but the staff is great. It’s easy to feel at ease, even while they are working in your mouth. Dr. Stuart Kaminsky explains every part of the process rather than rushing through his explanations like some other dentists I’ve been to. The whole experience was very easy-going. I rarely get good news when I go to the dentists, which is part of the reason I hate going. I had gotten used to poor treatment. However, Dr. Kaminsky is not like that. Working with him has completely changed my opinion of dentists. I plan on going to him for all my future dental needs. His assistant is phenomenal too. She eased my anxiety and was very kind.

I believed the solution was something expensive like Invisalign or breaking my jaw somehow for realignment. It turned out I just needed a tooth resurfacing, which was the reason for my jaw issues! I went out to Dr. Borgella DDS initially because they had great reviews local to Bronx and offered Invisalign. What ended up happening was I saved a bunch of money and switched over to them with Dr. Borgella as my primary dentist! I'll be referring my fiancé to use them, in addition to all my friends and family. They are friendly, genuine, caring, and also offer great availability options for those that have tough work schedules. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Rafya Sandhu and the staff at Westbury Smile Center. Making an appointment was easy. Dr. Sandhu genuinely listens to her clients’ concerns, making her one of the kindest dentists in New York. She recommends treatments but is never pushy. The prices are comparable to or better than other local dentists, and they work well with a variety of insurance companies. The hygienist is very kind and helpful. I’ll be returning for years to come.

Dr. Laura Huling finds one of the most fulfilling parts of being a dentist teaching children to have a life-long appreciation for dentistry and oral health. She strives to treat each of her patients with kindness in a welcoming, comfortable environment that puts them at ease and diminishes any fears and phobias they might have. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

Dr. Afridi and his staff are so kind and friendly. My daughter and I had appointments scheduled, and we both loved it. They put us at ease, and my dental hygienist was so professional. She was so sweet and told me what she was doing. Dr. Afridi was awesome, too. I was thankful that they checked when our last X-rays were to figure out if there would be any insurance discrepancies. This is a great dentist in Oakland Gardens NY. They really care about their patients, you and your dental health are their number one priority. They are easy to talk to and want to get to know you and your dental health. This helps him understand what treatments you’ll need and how to prevent future issues. His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. I am so impressed with Dr. Rchard Kaufman. I suppose I am one of those rare people that likes to go get their teeth worked on. For me, nothing feels better than having clean teeth. They do great work and work very closely with your insurance provider. it's a very stress free dental practice located in Uniondale, NY. I will be a patient for life!

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental is very efficient. It’s very easy to schedule appointments promptly. They also have the newest technology. I've been going to another dentist for YEARS prior to making this switch and I must say, that the old dentist was losing his touch. Upon meeting them, they were all personable and funny, making going to the dentist quite enjoyable. End of the day they were thorough and efficient. They are now working with me for my braces and orthodontic care. My chompers are looking fly.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

I’m very fortunate to have discovered Dr. Sandhu and Queens Dental Care. I’ve been to 3 dental offices in 3 years, but I’ve found my dental home. The first dentist I went to chipped my tooth during a cleaning and wouldn’t even admit it. I didn’t even know he’d chipped my front tooth until I got to my car. I went back in, and he fixed it, but that fix recently fell off. Other places charged way too much to fix it. I went to Queens Dental Care. The entire staff was kind, informative, and helpful. They are also very affordable. I’m a hairstylist, so I appreciate other “artist.” Dr. Sandhu is one such artist. I said the fixed tooth was beautiful. She and I are both proud of her work. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Dr. Sandhu.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

There are many other things I’d rather do with my time than go to the dentist. However, after visiting Dr. Mangiaracina, I don’t actually mind going to the dentist anymore. The receptionist was so sweet and did a great job making sure everything was accurate with my insurance. The hygienist made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process of cleaning my teeth. Dr. Mangiaracina is friendly too. I’ve found my new favorite dentist in Merrick, NY. I’ll be recommending her to friends and family as well.

I adore Lucky Dental. It’s difficult to find the perfect dentist, but Dr. Azbel is the best. I’m glad my search is over. I appreciate that they don’t upsell or overcharge you. I highly recommend this place. I’m still searching for the perfect mechanic and nail tech, but I found my perfect dentist.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

Shay Dental is one of the best and it is highly recommended by me (and my kids!) . We've been coming here to Dr. Shay for many years and they have never disappointed us with anything. They keep a clean office and they have intelligent, compassionate workers here doing their best to keep you happy every time. The office manager helps out so much with dealing with insurance issues and scheduling. Best dentist in NY!

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Dr. Cukier is wonderful. I’ve been a patient for some time now and have the utmost faith in him. I’m not exactly the most trusting person in the world when it comes to doctors and dentists, so it’s nice to know that I can count on Dr. Cukier to look out for my best interest rather than his own. The staff at Glendale Dental is exceptional as well.

Like most, I hate the idea of dentists - you name it, it’s just the worst! That all changed today. I just got home from an appointment at C K Galdieri and could not wait to write this. Dr. Galdieri was the most honest, straight-forward and friendly person I've met in a long time. Everything was explained in great detail and they even drew me some pictures to help understand my treatments. I can't say that I'm excited to go back necessarily, but I'm happy to have found a place in Elmwood Park that is responsive and empathetic. I look forward to fixing my teeth with this dental team. Dr. Rosen in Cedarhurst, NY is such an incredible dentist. And all of my experiences with his hygienists have been spectacular, they clean your teeth better than I have ever experienced. They are very thorough, and so friendly that you are saddened when it's over. The staff as a whole are so genuine, and they know you by name. If you give this dentist office a chance, you will not be disappointed. There aren't enough stars to give this dental clinic.

By far, Dr.Perry is the best dentist in Medford. By far. The whole staff is superb. Not only is Dr. Perry great at his work, but he is such a wonderful guy with a smile that lights up a room. He is so professional and friendly that you will lose any anxiety you may have. I'm so happy, I found him. Just such a pleasure.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous.
