I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. They listened to my concerns when I told them that the numbing shot doesn’t work that well on me and that they would need to give the most they possibly could. I’m so glad I didn’t feel a thing. They gave me a blanket because I was cold, which I was very thankful for and nitrous oxide since it was my first time getting a cavity filled. I don’t know which helped more, the nitrous oxide or the deep breaths, but I left feeling very satisfied. Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. I don’t typically leave reviews, but Dr. Mangiaracina deserves every last bit of praise. She is highly professional and knowledgeable, which is evident in her demeanor. She is also genuinely passionate about her job, which really puts you at ease. I’ve had multiple dentists botch their work in the past because they don’t really care about what they are doing, but Dr. Mangiaracina is different.
