I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I love Armstrong Dental Studio. The team is very friendly, and Armstrong is well-informed, polite, and caring. I stayed at the Armstrong Dental Center even after moving away from New York, although the drive is much further away. I'd recommend his dentistry absolutely.

Dr. Shay works to foster a good relationship with his patients while still quickly attending to their needs. I have had multiple procedures done there, and every time he is very direct. They do not try to upsell you like many other businesses in New York. They do what needs to be done efficiently and honestly, with a real concern for their patients. My whole immediate family gets their work done there. The staff is very accommodating and efficient, especially when handling emergency situations. They also offer more specialist services in the office on certain days of the week, so you never have to worry about outsourcing other offices or services. The office workers are also very helpful financially. When insurance doesn’t cover a procedure, the staff doesn’t hesitate to explain the best course of action in paying off bills, and they are very understanding and realistic when it comes to what’s urgent and what’s not. They have been a huge help in paying for our dental procedures. I wouldn’t go to any other dentist and I tell all my friends and family to use Shay Dental. The studio is well-kept and up-to-date, the workers are friendly and welcoming, and the work itself is perfect.

I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. After my appointment, the doctor went over with me a personalized treatment plan they had drafted to decide what should be done next. I will definitely be back soon.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rafya Sandhu for 5 years. She has always been very upfront with me about the services I require. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Incredible! The hygienist, is great and Dr. Ames is a skilled dentist and an awesome person. They were super accommodating to me when I was late due to classic Jackson Heights traffic. They are very family friendly and everyone in the Queens Central Dental practice is super pleasant in conversation. I brought my baby with me because I was on maternity leave and had not one to watch him and they were 100% accommodating. They completed my cleaning while he was in his car seat, and when he got upset, they let him sit with me! I got a cleaning done, quickly followed by two cavities filled. One cavity took longer to fill than expected and they were so nice about it, and then they scheduled an early appointment for me to get the other filled on another day. Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

After completing my antibiotics, Dr. Isakharov did my root canal. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. It went very well and I'm going back to finish the rest of my work. The office is always clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. Dr. Isakharov was gentle, didn’t rush anything, and told me what to expect about the recovery process. I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

At Dr. Sebold’s office there is never recrimination, no tsk-tsk or making me feel bad for long distances between visits, just a pleasant, professional dental experience. I've been going to Dr. Borgella for almost a year and I could not be more satisfied. I originally went to them for a second opinion prior to a cap on a tooth cracked during a filling by another dentist. I had been prepared to get a cap, but Dr. Borgella instead repaired the molar. Since then, I've had 6-month check-ups and a few fillings at Dr. Borgella’s office ever since. Chair-side manner could not be better, and the office manager is also a dream... organized and professional. Final award goes to the dental techs... they are very thorough and as pain free as you can get examining teeth. They have all undoubtedly mastered the techniques at Reginald Borgella DDS. Dr. Borgella’s Bronx office has honed both the technical and personal skills needed to make a dental visit amazing.

I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I have never been a massive fan of dentists, but Dr. Rosen at Cedarhurst, NY has changed my perspective. His office staff is so personable; the space itself is so comfortable. Everyone we came across at this office is kind, and the clinic is so organized. They are so punctual; you hardly have to wait in their comfy waiting room.

The way her staff greets us when we walk in the door to the moment we check out it feels like a family. And, they are always so punctual. We started out with the x-ray tech, who was very personable and kept us smiling with his jokes. You just cannot ask for better staff. The hygienist has to be the best in Scarsdale, NY. They took a few extra minutes to go over my habits and how to improve my dental health at home. If you haven't been by this location, do yourself a favor and do so. As long as I live in Freehold, I’ll keep going here, and if I have to move, I will somehow find a way back to this dentist office!
