When we lived in Merrick, NY, my family went to Dr. Mangiaracina. I went to her first. She was always so personable. She even remembered my daughter’s name. The whole staff knew how to make you feel comfortable. The hygienists were friendly. I honestly don’t like going to the dentist, but I liked going to Dr. Mangiaracina. That’s a compliment. He even told me what the numbers meant when he was examining my teeth. The whole team was competent and kind. They didn’t just go ahead and do my X-rays without first checking with my insurance to see if they were covered, which is so rare! This office in Glen Oaks is wonderful, and I’m so happy I found them. I regret not going to them sooner.

The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

The hygienist I typically see always does a great job on my cleanings. She is very meticulous. The exam rooms and office are clean. It’s a very cozy and relaxing space. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I recently called Dr. Lerner's office, and the receptionist helped us find another practice that could accommodate my sister's dental needs and insurance information on such short notice. The receptionist could have just hung up the phone after telling us that they couldn't take her on as a patient at that time, but instead, she was incredibly helpful and understanding. Even though my sister and I aren't patients there at this current time, it felt like we were because of the kindness that we received.
