I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. I can honestly say I love Dr. Borgella DDS! I have been seeing Dr. Borgella for 3 years and have referred friends and neighbors - really anyone who has asked in the Bronx area. They treat everyone as though we are family and they even had a baby shower for me when we adopted our daughter. The dentists are caring and gentle and do a wonderful job in partnership with their hygienists and techs. Five stars simply aren?t enough!

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Dr. Cukier and his staff are amazing. I’ve been to Glendale Dental for two emergency treatments, and they are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Cukier is wonderful. He knows his craft and works efficiently. I had little to no pain for either procedure thanks to Dr. Cukier being good with a needle. I highly recommend Dr. Cukier. I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

This is my 3rd visit to Dr. Amir and I have been uber impressed with the professionalism and proficient service. I dialed their number and prayed they had an opening. It was the best decision I could have made! Plain and simple, he is great at his job, gentle, mindful, and a joy to talk to. Don’t let his looks deceive you - he’s a great dentist. I had a drilling a few weeks ago, and even the shot was pain free! He did my crown for me yesterday, and he took about a half hour to make sure it was the perfect fit for my teeth. The crown was already made, so it should have been a perfect fit. However, he wants his to last for many years, so he does the best job possible to ensure it’s longevity. He also took an extra x-ray to ensure the crown was sealed all the way around since he couldn’t see part of it. He’s so meticulous, which is exactly what you want in the person who works in your mouth and drills your teeth. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental for 2 years. I’ve needed frequent dental work, and Dr. Babayev and her family are one in a million. The patient care is impeccable, and they always go above and beyond. Obviously, root canals aren’t fun, but after having had multiple, I can honestly say that Dr. Babayev does it the best.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

My appointment started at 8:45, but I was back in the chair by 8:35. While the dentist was flossing my teeth, he also gave me recommendations on what to use for my teeth. The next day I went in my tooth was fixed. The tooth matches my other teeth well, and it was at a very affordable price. Go see Dr. Rosen for all your dental needs.

Dr. Sandhu is a very skilled and reasonable dentist. I went to her for Invisalign, and she did great work. I appreciated that she was fully devoted to her patients’ needs. She makes sure everything goes smoothly during treatments and even checks up on her patients after more complicated procedures, including checking on my after my Invisalign trays have been delivered. I’m very impressed with both the care and the location. The Westbury, NY location and parking are very convenient.

Their hours are really good, which is a bonus for someone with a busy job. I can’t wait to update with a picture of my brand new smile.
