I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

I have neglected to go to the dentist for about six years now. Just a few months ago one of my crowns broke, so I had to find the courage and make the appointment. I saw online reviews of Dr. Sandhu that seem way too good to be true, but they were right down the road from me, so I made the appointment. I was honestly embarrassed when they asked me the time that has passed since my last appointment. I never felt friendly to any of my previous dentists, and I was always afraid of the pain and cost. The moment I walked into Westbury Smile Center I felt at ease. I always remember feeling rushed when I’ve been in dentists office previously. They remained very punctual, but they took their time and made you feel at home. The dentist didn’t bounce around to different patients; it seemed as if my appointment was the time she completely dedicated to me. She examined my broken crown and told me the process it would take to replace it, and the price to do so post insurance. I was shocked that it wasn’t much more. During the entire process of the exam, cleaning, a filling or two, and the repaired crown, I felt no pain whatsoever. This clinic seems entirely dedicated to customer service. After I left there, I felt relieved to have come across Dr. Sandhu, and I got the dental care I needed. I will continue to go to this clinic for my checkups and cleanings. For as much time Dr. Sandhu is at this clinic, I will be a patient here.

I was having some tooth pain, so I needed to go see Dr. Kaufman. My appointment was at 3 p.m., and I was seen in less than 15 minutes. The assistant was incredibly personable and very helpful in showing me the correct way to floss and how to prevent my gums from bleeding. Dr. Kaufman and the ortho specialist were both great. They answered all my questions and took the time to find out exactly what the source of my pain was. I am so thrilled to have found this office.

The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

Dr. Azbel has been impeccable. The staff at Lucky Dental are so personable, informative, and attentive. I love my visits so far to this clinic; my teeth cleanings have been great. Incredible! The hygienist, is great and Dr. Ames is a skilled dentist and an awesome person. They were super accommodating to me when I was late due to classic Jackson Heights traffic. They are very family friendly and everyone in the Queens Central Dental practice is super pleasant in conversation. I brought my baby with me because I was on maternity leave and had not one to watch him and they were 100% accommodating. They completed my cleaning while he was in his car seat, and when he got upset, they let him sit with me! I got a cleaning done, quickly followed by two cavities filled. One cavity took longer to fill than expected and they were so nice about it, and then they scheduled an early appointment for me to get the other filled on another day. Top choice moving forward – highly recommend Queens Central Dental.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother, the widow of a dentist. She loves Dr. Rafya Sandu because she is thorough and informative. She is also gentle and kind. My mom has never experienced any pain from the procedures Dr. Sandhu has done. The hygienist is also great. She is very meticulous.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Each and every time I come here to Shay Dental I am blown away. They are by far my favorite dental office in New York. Dr. Shay and all of his support staff are extremely diligent with the exam and talk you through the entire process. It’s nice to know what’s going on when you’re sitting in their chair. I'll say it...THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN NYC!!! They have given me so many reasons to remain true. Here recently my husband had an emergency...was in severe pain. I went to Armstrong Dental Studio first thing in the morning and they took care of everything, even though he didn't have an appointment until the night before. They are so courteous and caring. We always have an amazing visit and always looking forward to the next time. Dr. Armstrong always seems so happy to see us and takes time to ask about how things are going. I can hardly put into words the way I feel about how helpful, kind, and incredibly skilled team is at G.K. Raman DDS in Brooklyn, NY. I hadn’t been to a dentist in two years, so I went in for a checkup/x-ray. The staff was great. They made sure that I felt comfortable; they even offered me a bottle of water while I waited. Dr. Kalyanaraman worked very quickly and professionally. He reviewed my x-rays and discussed the results with me. I had never actually seen my teeth nor had I ever had everything explained to me like that. I love this place.

I am so excited to report that I have found my regular dentist. I absolutely love Dr. Lerner's office. Everyone on staff is so sweet! Typically, when I would go to the dentist, I would experience pain from all the poking and prodding and would end up with a massive bill for fillings or crowns. However, Dr. Lerner is different. I got an implant, and it was done in just 10 minutes. I felt no pain whatsoever. That was an absolute first for me. I have never had a painless dental visit in my life. The hygienist who did my cleaning was amazing. She had such a great personality--making me laugh and easing my anxiety. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.
