Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Merit Scholarship as well as the Clark Foundation Scholarship, among other honors. Before joining the Connecticut Dental Group, he was a consulting dentist with MetLife Insurance Company.

Today, Dr. Azar is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association(CSDA), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Radiance Dental is absolutely incredible. Dr. Madelon Murphy is deserving of many more five star reviews than what she currently has. I called the office in Scarsdale, NY, and they were able to get me in the next day at the time I needed. When I showed up, the staff called me by name when I approached the front desk and assisted with my check-in. The team as a whole are so, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy working for Dr. Murphy. The dental hygienist did such a great job with my cleaning, and I was then fitted for a mouth guard and scheduled to come back for a filling, which was so small that it didn’t require novocaine. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Borgella the whole staff at Reginald Borgella’s dental office. For a number of reasons, especially being afraid of the dentist, it had been WAY too long since I’d had an exam, and so I had to get some serious work done on my teeth. I visited the Bronx office over the course of several months to get everything completed. Each and every time, I was clearly informed about what was needed and the process, how much it would cost, and most importantly was welcomed and put at ease. I live far away, but driving to Dr. Borgella is worth it for the wonderful care that’s coming your way!

I’m so glad I found Stuart Kaminsky DDS. Having been back for at least 5 appointments, I can honestly say that each time I left feeling clean. The staff is incredibly kind. They know their craft and don’t try to upsell you. Dr. Kaminsky is trustworthy and honest when recommending procedures and care. I personally love this level of honesty in a provider. My hygienist is great as well. She answers my questions and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I appreciate her patience. I never feel rushed when I’m in the chair. I definitely will be coming back for years to come.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I’m so lucky to have found this dentist. Dr. Wert is very friendly and easy to talk to. The dental staff is very kind. The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. I plan on being a patient here for the rest of my life and would recommend everyone else to this place as well.

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

C K Galdieri has an amazingly friendly staff. Clean and well organized just begin to describe office. Dr. Galdieri did my exam and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me the REAL truth about my dental health. I'm glad I didn't believe those other frauds in Elmwood Park who claimed I needed $15k worth of work. Dr. Galdieri said I didn't need any of the things that those others said I would need – no upsells, straight forward and incredible service.

I came to see Dr. Sandhu in late December with my child. This dentist and the staff at Westbury Smile Center are so child-friendly. They have a great environment that really keeps kids calm. Due to it being a weekend appointment, they were super busy, but they were still able to see us walk-ins. We currently don’t have dental insurance, but they were able to do all of the usual stuff at a very reasonable price.

I recently went to Everlasting Smiles Dental for a regular teeth cleaning. My hygienist did the scaling on my teeth, and it was absolutely painless, which is so unheard of! She even discovered a piece of cement that another dentist left in my mouth after putting a crown on my tooth. She removed it for me. Incredible. I wish I could give them more stars. Seriously, check out Dr. Afridi’s dentist office in Glen Oaks, NY.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

Going to the dentist is a pretty darn terrifying no matter who you are, but Dr. Ames is as good as it gets. I've gone for regular cleanings, fillings, as well as wisdom teeth extractions, and each time they make sure to explain everything in detail, constantly checks in on how you're feeling. I’ve never been made to feel guilty about cavities, and most importantly: Dr. Ames has a much-needed sense of humor to bring down dentist anxiety. Passion for the job is clear (they seem to genuinely enjoy it). QUEENS CENTRAL DENTAL is good with people of all ages and backgrounds, so it really feels like they care about each of their patients and the Jackson Heights community. Of course, the staff is also all very professional! Highly, highly recommended. :)

Dr. Kaufman deserves to thumbs up. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the very friendly front desk staff. The check-in process was very convenient because I had already completed the paperwork online. I was able to see Dr. Kaufman without having to wait. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the results I have received from my ZOOM whitening treatment. My teeth look 3 shades whiter now. I had a phenomenal experience thanks to the wonderful staff at Dr. Kaufman’s clinic. Everyone here is so kind, professional, and helpful. I’ve been a patient here for a long time, but I just had my first filling ever done. I almost made it 25 years without one. Getting a filling was easier than getting a tattoo, which is something I couldn’t believe. The dentist and the dental assistants were gentle. My comfort was their top priority. Dr. Margaret Drozdowski Maule attended St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. During this time, she oversaw many technological advances and agency expansions, as well as the operations of the dental department. She was named one of the "40 under 40" outstanding graduates of the University of Connecticut in 2008. By 2011, she graduated from the Johnson School at Cornell University with an MBA degree.

Dr. Drozdowski Maule opened Family Dentistry of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT in 2019 and realized that her passion in life is patient care. To ensure that her patients receive high-quality dentistry, she frequently attends continuing education courses and has completed over 70 hours of dental sleep medicine seminars. She has also finished the American Dental Association's Evidence-Based Dentistry training. From 2008 to 2014, she served on the board of directors for the National Oral Health Access Network.

When she is not working at her private practice or building up her own knowledge of dentistry, she is presenting on numerous topics such as electronic health record implementation, mobile dental programs, financial and operational topics, and meaningful use requirements across the country. Today, Dr. Drozdowski Maule is an expert advisor with DentaQuest Institute and provides consulting for dental programs in the US. She is also an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and has been since 1998. She serves on their peer review council, access to care committee, the strategic planning committee, and is the chair of the finance committee. She has received additional training in sleep apnea and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Sandhu and the staff are truly exceptional by being welcoming and being on time with their appointment schedules. Dentist visits can be intimidating, but with this office, I feel content and secure that I am being managed well. Dr. Sandhu is pleasant and answers all questions. I recommend this office; I have been coming here for a year and will continue to go.

I’m so glad I found my general dentist at Kingston Dental Associates. The staff is kind, and it’s in a great location. I”m always happy with the work I get done here. I have a 15 year old daughter who hates going to the dentist, but she loves when they clean her teeth here. We go to the hygienist, and she makes us feel relaxed, and she also does a great and thorough job of cleaning our teeth. She really likes her job. If more people were like the staff at Kingston Dental Associates people wouldn’t hate going to the dentist, at least not in Kingston, NY.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

Yesterday I brought my son to Armstrong Dental Studio for routine cleaning. I could not be more satisfied with our appointment. Setting the appointment itself was so easy. The whole team was so courteous and friendly at the reception. The facility is not only clean but gorgeous. We didn't wait more than 5mins to be seen (which with a stressed child was a relief). Once in the room the hygienist was very courteous and helped put my son at ease. He was so excited about the tech they had. The hygienist took time explaining what different tools she was using and showed my son how they worked. The dentist, Dr. Armstrong, was nice and also made my son feel relaxed. If you have made it this far in my review the finest part was at dinner my son was telling his two older brothers about his appointment... and by the end of his story, they all were excited to go to the dentist too!!! A MAJOR MOM WIN FOR SURE! So happy to have found the BEST dentist in New York!

Dr. Shay of Shay Dental was expertly able to match the color and structure of my new tooth, while allowing plenty of floss clearance. It feels and fits great. There was almost no discomfort through the procedure, and though it felt a bit tight at first, it’s settled in and I don’t even notice it now. His professional work allowed me to be presentable in time for an important family event here in New York. His staff members were helpful and friendly too. Thanks for the job well done.

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental for 2 years. I’ve needed frequent dental work, and Dr. Babayev and her family are one in a million. The patient care is impeccable, and they always go above and beyond. Obviously, root canals aren’t fun, but after having had multiple, I can honestly say that Dr. Babayev does it the best.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Anyone in Rego Park should come to Dr. Thomopoulos!

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

I have been a regular patient of Dr. Azbel for three years, and I can say with absolute confidence that this is the best until the facility I've ever been to. At my first appointment, I knew this was exactly who I wanted to be my regular dentist. It's nice to find a dentist who loves what they do. Plus, the entire staff, everyone from the reception is to the hygienists, is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. Dr. Lerner and his staff are incredible. They became my dental practice after I had my wisdom teeth removed here. One day, I came in because I was in a lot of pain. They discovered that I had cavities that needed to be taken care of and that I needed a root canal. I decided to look elsewhere to see if I could find a lower price. However, after searching multiple dental offices, I realized that I would not find anything that compared to Dr. Lerner. I went back for the recommended care and have been very satisfied with the results.

My wife and I have had positive experiences every time we’ve been. This morning, I had a cavity/filling work and didn’t experience any pain whatsoever. That’s a first in my 50 years of experience. The entire staff is remarkable. They conduct themselves professionally and the office is clean and inviting. I’m glad to have found Dr. Concetta Mangiaracina. I highly recommend her practice.
