Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Merit Scholarship as well as the Clark Foundation Scholarship, among other honors. Before joining the Connecticut Dental Group, he was a consulting dentist with MetLife Insurance Company.

If I could give Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental more stars, I would! She has to be the best dentist in the Scarsdale, NY area. I refer everyone I know to her. Oddly enough, my friends and I all had terrible dentist phobia and hated the idea of going to a clinic. And then a coworker referred me to Dr. Murphy’s office. Now my friends and I actually look forward to our checkups and cleanings. The staff here are so friendly, and everyone at each step of your visit seems to genuinely care for their patients. One of the hygienists joked with me during the entire cleaning which calmed my nerves. Dr. Murphy has completely changed my perception of a dentist office. My wait times at this clinic have been very short which is shocking due to how many people tend to cycle through. This clinic is easily five stars! Thank you, Dr. Murphy.

Dr. Laura Huling finds one of the most fulfilling parts of being a dentist teaching children to have a life-long appreciation for dentistry and oral health. She strives to treat each of her patients with kindness in a welcoming, comfortable environment that puts them at ease and diminishes any fears and phobias they might have. When patients leave her practice, she hopes they feel proud and confident with their new smile.

Dr. Huling earned her BA in biology from Hamilton College, then went on to attend the University of Connecticut dental school. There, she became involved with the school's pediatric dental program and gained experience treating children with varying conditions. Upon graduating. Dr. Huling was recognized for being the best dental student in her class, as well as the student with the most promising future, and was awarded the Fox award and the pediatric dentistry award. Today, she is a member of the AAPD and the ADA. She has privileges to practice at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

I chose to try out this practice based on positive online reviews. I hadn’t been to the dentist in quite some time, but I do try to take good care of my teeth by brushing and flossing. I was wowed by the level of respect I received from Dr. Kaminsky. Neither he nor his staff tried to pressure me into getting expensive treatments. They discussed necessary concerns, namely my wisdom teeth and what the process would be like to eventually have them removed. They were very thorough and cared about my comfort. The typical lack of concern some dentists show for this was why I stopped going to the dentist in the first place, so I was relieved that they took the time to make sure I was okay. They also have all the latest technology. After having such a wonderful experience, I booked another cleaning. Asides from my wisdom teeth, I got an A+ for my oral health. I highly recommended Dr. Kaminsky Edit - 7/18/17: I chipped my tooth, and it was digging into my cheek. I was scheduled to leave town the next morning. Luckily, they were able to squeeze me in and fix it. I had an X-ray. They cleaned up the sharp edge, and I was ready for my trip. They didn’t even charge me! I love the quick, friendly treatment. They are really concerned with long-term client relationships. Great!

I recently moved to the Bronx and was on the lookout for a great dentist. I found Dr. Borgella and will never go to another dentist. From the administrative staff to the dentistry staff, they were all kind, professional, and had great personalities that made the visit remarkable. Dr. Borgella sat down with me and walked me through my procedure and genuinely asked if I had any questions ahead of the procedure. Hands down one of the best dentist offices in the area!

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I called Dr. Sandhu’s office this afternoon. I was actually parking in front my regular dentist’s office, but they couldn’t schedule me for an appointment today. I spoke to the kind staff of the Westbury Smile Center the office, and they scheduled within the hour. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Sandhu was so kind and personable. I have braces, so she discussed, in detail, how to properly brush, which I had not previously been informed of. She then gave me this cream for the demineralization of my teeth due to my braces. I left with a little dental care package. Thankfully, I didn’t need any additional work done besides the cleaning, but this will be my dentist from now on. I wholeheartedly recommend the Westbury Smile Center in Westbury, NY!

I’m so lucky to have found this dentist. Dr. Wert is very friendly and easy to talk to. The dental staff is very kind. The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. I plan on being a patient here for the rest of my life and would recommend everyone else to this place as well.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

This office is fantastic. Everlasting Smiles Dental runs so smoothly. Everyone’s competent and timely, and they all seem to love their jobs. They all know you and remember little details you tell them even though they haven’t seen you since your cleaning six months ago. The facility is gorgeous, and they have a lot of high-tech equipment that benefit your oral hygiene and health. If you’ve had problems at other dental offices, I highly recommend you check out Dr. Afridi’s office. They will change your perspective of getting dental work done. I would also recommend them if you need a new dentist in Glen Oaks.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

I called Dr. Kaufman's office after having not been to a dentist in years. This was the best decision I could have possibly made. The entire staff at his practice is incredible! The assistants are very personable and knowledgeable. The receptionist manages appointments and does a great job accommodating my work schedule. I love that Dr. Kaufman truly cares about his patients. He is a very skilled yet honest dentist. I had a deep cleaning and an appointment to replace the existing metal fillings with composite fillings. The procedure was painless. I love that Dr. Kaufman explained everything that he was going to do and really reassured me that everything would turn out great. I was very comfortable during the entire process. If you are anxious about visiting the dentist, then this is the place for you. Dr. Kaufman knows how to make you feel at ease the entire time. My smile looks incredible. I love my teeth now. The staff at Queens Central Dental are very friendly. My son ended up needing a tooth extracted and Dr. Ames did a phenomenal job. My son had no idea he received the numbing shot thanks to the doc giving him numbing gel first and being very discreet with the needle. Both the assistant and dentist were amazing ? very clear that this will be out Jackson Heights dentist choice for years to come.

I’ve been a patient here for a long time, but I just had my first filling ever done. I almost made it 25 years without one. Getting a filling was easier than getting a tattoo, which is something I couldn’t believe. The dentist and the dental assistants were gentle. My comfort was their top priority. I just moved to Franklin Park, NY and needed a new dentist. My first visit to Dr. Babayev and BH Franklin Dental was incredible. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. They showed me several techniques to improve my oral health. They even scheduled my finance and I for a whitening package before our wedding so that we will have perfect smiles on our big day. The price for a couple was very affordable.

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. But the friendly office staff convinced me to stay, and I’m glad I did. The staff and technicians were kind and professional. They made me feel totally comfortable. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

Like most, I hate the idea of dentists - you name it, it’s just the worst! That all changed today. I just got home from an appointment at C K Galdieri and could not wait to write this. Dr. Galdieri was the most honest, straight-forward and friendly person I've met in a long time. Everything was explained in great detail and they even drew me some pictures to help understand my treatments. I can't say that I'm excited to go back necessarily, but I'm happy to have found a place in Elmwood Park that is responsive and empathetic. I look forward to fixing my teeth with this dental team. Seriously, this is coming from a patient who has avoided the dentist at all costs for WAY too long: GO to C K Galdieri. (That's an order!)

I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. After my appointment, the doctor went over with me a personalized treatment plan they had drafted to decide what should be done next. I will definitely be back soon.

Queens Dental Office is one of the best dentists in Jackson Heights. I continue to come back to this place time and time again because their service is exceptional, their staff is welcoming, they create a friendly atmosphere, and they provide information to help my teeth. They make me feel very comfortable; now I no longer dread my dentist visits. My dental anxiety is gone. Dr. Sandhu is fantastic!

Dr. Isakharov is simply the best! I've been putting off this tooth that needed filling for about 5 years and it finally gave out. Elite Dental got me in the same day and was quite affordable. The staff was friendly and the work was done quickly and thoroughly. I couldn't thank them enough!

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Dr. Azbel has been impeccable. The staff at Lucky Dental are so personable, informative, and attentive. I love my visits so far to this clinic; my teeth cleanings have been great. They allowed me to wear headphones and listen to music while they worked, which eased my anxieties considerably. The parking situation was pretty good, and I love Dr. Azbel.

I had a very nice experience here, which I’ve found to be very rare at a dentist office in Midtown Manhattan. I was pleasantly surprised at how great they are here. I didn’t have any waiting time here, which has never happened to me before. The staff is very kind. They provide quality dental care. They make sure you’re as comfortable as possible during procedures by giving you headphones. I can’t wait to show my husband this place and recommend it to all my friends.

Shay Dental is the nicest and kindest dentistry in all of New York! Dr. Shay is crazy awesome, so professional and he knows exactly what to do, and also how to explain it so you understand what is going on. They do the best so they can make your smile the best! My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. I would recommend Dr. Choi and her staff at Smile by Choice to anyone.

I chipped a tooth this weekend and was very nervous that I wouldn’t be able to find a dentist to help. I called Dr. Mangiaracina as soon as I could on Monday morning, and I was able to get an appointment the same day. I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Mangiaracina fixed my front tooth, and now it looks even better than before.

I met Dr. Cukier for the first time this week. Thankfully, he saw me right away. I didn’t have to wait very long. The receptionist was wonderful too. I appreciated the professionalism Dr. Cukier showed; he made me feel at ease when discussing the dental issues that needed to be tended to. Out of all the “adulting” tasks, going to the dentist is one of my least favorite. After looking at online reviews, I decided to call Dr. Lerner's office. I gave them my insurance information, and they called me back within an hour to help me schedule the appointment. The receptionist that I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and helpful. She made scheduling an appointment very easy, especially for a new patient. When I arrived, multiple staff members greeted me very kindly. After being called back, they took me to get some x-rays done and then assigned me to a room. The office was clean and cozy. The staff is very charismatic. They're also very honest, which I greatly appreciate when it comes to a dentist. While I still don't like going to the dentist, I will be coming back in 6 months for my regular checkup. As long as I live in New York, New York, Dr. Howard Lerner will be my dentist.

A few hours ago, I discovered Dr. Perry's office for my fiancé who required an urgent root canal. They're extremely polite, knowledgeable, kind and fantastic at what they're doing! I likely got on their nerves because I asked a hundred questions throughout the appointment and even took charge on my Fiancé’s behalf. They didn't seem to be disturbed one bit, though. Many dentists don't even do molar root canals, but we were lucky! My fiancé and I are so thankful for such a fantastic dentist here in Medford and grateful for Dr. Perry. I strongly suggest this location in Medford to anyone who requires any kind of dental job.

Dr. Dane Fletcher’s passion is providing each of his patients with pain-free and high-quality dentistry. He regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure that the dental techniques and technology he treats his patients with are current. Dr. Fletcher earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Drew University and graduated summa cum laude. He then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate in dental medicine. Afterwards, Dr. Fletcher went to Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, where he completed a General Dentistry Practice Residency. Dr. Rosen is by far the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of going to. The people that manage the office are impeccable, and they treat you like a family member and remember your name. I first came to his office after a year and a half of neglecting my teeth. I ended up needing a lot of work done. I was referred elsewhere for my root canal, due to the specifics of it, but I had a few cavities filled by Dr. Rosen. I try to go back to the dentist sooner than the usual six months to try and better manage my situation. The staff here are so accommodating; at one point I asked for a pillow, and they happily obliged. It’s a small office, and the team always seems to stay the same, which in my mind means it's probably a great place to work. They offer incentives when you refer a friend, and they offer deals on social media. I highly recommend this dentist office!

The experience I had at Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. Going to the dentist isn’t the most fun thing to do, but at G. K. Raman DDS, it’s seamless. They accommodated my very busy schedule, electronically completed and filed the forms, and handled the entire experience so that it was almost enjoyable. The office staff conveniently sent me a detailed plan/quote of the work to be done in advance of the appointment. Dr. Kalyanaraman is very easy to talk to and will patiently answer all your questions. The office is very modern and incredibly sanitary. The waiting area is very comfortable and relaxing, and the pleasant experience continues while having dental work done. I have never had a dentist appointment that went so well. I highly recommend G. K. Raman DDS.

I always feel at home at Dr. Grinberg’s office. Everyone is kind and they’re great with my kids. I’m so glad they’re willing to entertain my kids when I have to bring them to appointments. They’re very kind, knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough. Dr. Grinberg’ is the greatest dentist in Brooklyn. I”m so glad I found my family dentist in Sheepshead Bay, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist.

This was my 2nd visit to Candy Sebold DDS. And just like the first, my experience with Dr. Sebold was awesome! From the very professional, yet extremely funny receptionist to the friendly crew in the back. And I can't forget the incredible bedside manners from the Dentist – a true Brooklyn hero! I will surely recommend this office to everyone I meet!
