Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. Dr. Lerner not only has a great personality but also is a great dentist. He genuinely cares about his patients and gives honest recommendations about the work that needs to be done. He respects his patients’ wishes and does not try to pressure them into getting services that they don't actually need. The office does a great job at accommodating my busy schedule and has even scheduled me for appointments with very little notice. I appreciate how willing they are to help. Dr. Ames treats our family of four including the recent addition of elementary school aged children who previously went to a pediatric dentist. The youngest required her first filling (and shot, yikes!) this week and Dr. Ames and staff at Queens Central Dental distracted her, cheered her up, and, believe it or not, there was not a sighting of even a single tear! They showed her their tools and explained in an age-appropriate way what they would do. They were even patient and answered all her questions. She was kept comfortable and laughed during the visit in spite of arriving at the office right in Jackson Heights. My first visit to Elite Dental was an emergency. My partially erupted wisdom tooth had swelled the whole right side of my face. Ugh! I was miserable and scared. I had no idea how my appointment would go when I walked in, but I was very pleasantly Surprised. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

My family has been seeing Dr. Afridi, and we think he’s nothing short of attentive, competent, intelligent, careful and highly trained. Dr. Afridi did many implants for my elderly mother. He was very careful not to hurt her and really took his time. The end result was great - to this day, she can still eat solid foods! A few years after the implants, however, she developed gum disease and an infection (probably a lack of oral hygiene), and her last dentist never said anything about it. Dr. Afridi was able to save her teeth and implants. He saw her right away and followed up to make sure everything was going alright. We don’t want anything like that to happen to her again, so now he’s in charge of her dental care from now on. As for myself, I had a calcified front tooth due to a bad root canal from a specialist. I really don’t blame him though because I knew it was a potential complication. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Afridi for follow-up treatment and an implant. I was scared and wanted to be knocked out during it, but he promised it wouldn’t hurt. And he was right. Even though I needed bone generation and gum generation for my implant, they were able to give me a temporary tooth on that same day. The entire procedure was pain free, and the end result was beautiful! Everlasting Smiles Dental is conveniently located in Glen Oaks, NY. It’s spotless and efficient with a warm, amazing staff. My coworker actually did a similar procedure to mine at another place because it was cheaper, and he went through a ton of pain and couldn’t go to work because of it. Therefore, he really didn’t save any money. The only place I’d ever go for extensive dental work like that would be to this office. I strongly recommend Dr. Afridi.

In order to understand why I love the G.K. Raman DDS practice so much, you have to know my dental history. I had a deep cleaning that left me in a lot of residual pain. I changed jobs and insurances, so I decided to switch to Dr. Kalyanaraman’s practice after reading positive online reviews. His office was conveniently located in relation to where I live, and they accept my insurance. I made an appointment for a checkup and to discuss Invisalign. I barely had to wait after filling out the paperwork. The staff was incredibly kind and personable. I’ll be going back for a cleaning next, not a deep cleaning though. I even received a little bag of treats, including mouthwash and chapstick!. I highly recommend this Brooklyn dental practice. I can’t wait to return.

I love the beautiful office and awesome staff. The hygienists are gentle when cleaning. Dr. Kaminsky and his staff pay attention to detail, which some dental practices seem to forget. For example, they remind you about your appointments in advance and don’t make you spend an eternity in the waiting room. While they do offer cosmetic services (whitening, straightening, even an oral cancer screening,) they don’t bother you if you decline.

I arrived a bit early to the Westbury Smile Center, and they were able to get me in immediately and proceeded to get my x-rays taken care of. I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!

Dr. Sebold and the staff are wonderful, from chair-side manners, to the quality of their work. For my initial assessment, I had previously used up my x-ray allotment for the year and was worried that I wouldn't be able to be seen, so I had my previous dentist send over the records. Dr. Sebold said it would be better for her to have a new set, so they ran them for free! I have troublesome teeth and no one on the staff made me feel guilty or ashamed for all the work I needed to get done. The hygienist even shared in my troubles because she has weak enamel herself and gave me tips for getting the most out of my prescription toothpaste. I really felt like Dr. Sebold and the entire Brooklyn office were very upfront and trustworthy about what needed to be done AND importantly how much it would cost. For my next appointment, I went in for… a number of cavities… one of which turned out to need a root canal and Dr. Sebold worked through her lunch to complete it so that I would not have to come back later and be in pain in the meantime – incredible. While a root canal is never fun, she made mine as painless as possible by constantly reassessing my discomfort and adding Novocain as needed - I barely felt a thing! I highly appreciate that kind of genuine care - I have suffered through tooth pain before and am very grateful she went the extra mile to spare me that. Short summary: Candy Sebold DDS is a friendly, accommodating practice that does quality, comfortable work and really cares about their patients - I could not recommend them highly enough.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

Dr. Reznik and Big Apple Dental had been our dentist in Wyandanch, NY for a long time, so we trusted him. Change can be hard to handle, So when we moved we were sad that we might have to change dentist. But Dr. Reznik is such a great dentist, that we are willing to drive two hours. The office staff is very is very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve had the same hygienist for a while now, and that’s what really matters to me because that is all I really need normally. I’m very lucky that Dr. Reznik is on this dental plan because then my routine cleanings and x-rays are only $25.00!
