Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I spoke to the kind staff of the Westbury Smile Center the office, and they scheduled within the hour. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Sandhu was so kind and personable. I have braces, so she discussed, in detail, how to properly brush, which I had not previously been informed of. She then gave me this cream for the demineralization of my teeth due to my braces. I left with a little dental care package. Thankfully, I didn’t need any additional work done besides the cleaning, but this will be my dentist from now on. Dr. Margaret Drozdowski Maule attended St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. During this time, she oversaw many technological advances and agency expansions, as well as the operations of the dental department. She was named one of the "40 under 40" outstanding graduates of the University of Connecticut in 2008. By 2011, she graduated from the Johnson School at Cornell University with an MBA degree.

I met Dr. Mangiaracina after being referred to a friend after another dentist told me I needed a bunch of procedures done. Dr. Mangiaracina confirmed I needed a filling but told me the rest of the procedures were excessive. She was very understanding. My dental plan even knew that this was a great dental office. The entire staff is welcoming. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

The office has a convenient location, and the staff makes scheduling an appointment very easy. The hygienist who took care f me cleaned my teeth and took a set of X-rays. She was very patient and gentle, which helped ease my anxiety. I opted to invest in teeth whitening. They took impressions that day. I was able to pick up the kit the next day and was thankful for the thorough instructions I received. They even followed up with me, thanking me for coming in. I may not like going to the dentist, but Dr. Babayev and BH Franklin Dental make it a whole lot easier to maintain a beautiful smile.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. I had the most pleasant experience at Dr. Borgella’s dental office today. The whole staff is nice and accommodating. I haven't been to a dentist in over 12 years. The dental assistant and the dentist, Dr. Borgella, made me feel very comfortable. We laughed a lot talking through treatments. I didn't feel judged about the condition of my teeth, or for not having seen a dentist for so many years. They gave me a wonderful gift bag full of useful items; it's a great gesture that made me feel special. The cost of my treatment was more affordable than I thought! I'm going back on Monday to have a broken tooth capped. Dr. Borgella took a lot of time explaining the results of my x-rays. He even removed a popcorn shell that had inflamed my gums and prevented me from eating solid food for a couple of days. Overall, an incredible experience, highly recommend Dr. Borgella DDS in the Bronx .

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Going to the dentist is a pretty darn terrifying no matter who you are, but Dr. Ames is as good as it gets. I've gone for regular cleanings, fillings, as well as wisdom teeth extractions, and each time they make sure to explain everything in detail, constantly checks in on how you're feeling. I’ve never been made to feel guilty about cavities, and most importantly: Dr. Ames has a much-needed sense of humor to bring down dentist anxiety. Passion for the job is clear (they seem to genuinely enjoy it). QUEENS CENTRAL DENTAL is good with people of all ages and backgrounds, so it really feels like they care about each of their patients and the Jackson Heights community. AMAZING DENTISTRY BY AMAZING PEOPLE!!! Dr. Isakharov is an exceptional dentist and the staff at Elite Dental is just outstanding! I was having a throbbing toothache from a cracked molar and was really dreading seeing the dentist. There was a little pinch from the numbing injection and then not a thing from the extraction. It was over before I could even freak out!! Sometimes you wonder about some of the reviews you read, but I assure these guys are on top of their game! Dr. Shyam Shivareddy is prepared to give professional guidance and advice to anyone who asks, and is always welcoming new patients to his practice. After earning his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery, Dr. Shivareddy entered the DDS program at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree. Since then, Dr. Shivareddy has been a strong believer in continuing dental education courses. He also volunteers 15 days each year to providing dental services to underprivileged people, free of charge.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Dr. Sandhu is an excellent dentist. She is kind, informative, and truly cares about her patients. She never makes you feel silly for asking questions and never pushes you into unnecessary procedures. The staff is great as well. They are personable and greet you by name. When they referred me to an orthodontist, they gave me all the info I needed and offered to send my patient info over as well. The hygienist I typically see always does a great job on my cleanings. She is very meticulous. The exam rooms and office are clean. It’s a very cozy and relaxing space.
