Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. I’ve been to multiple dental practices. Thanks to bad genetics, I’ve had my fair share of cavities, root canals, and now an infected tooth that needed to be removed. Dr. Kaminsky was wonderful throughout the whole process. I initially came here just to get a second opinion and was so impressed that they didn’t even charge me for the X-rays they took so they could see the infected tooth better. Dr. Kaminsky sat with me for at least half an hour, discussing treatment options and prices. I was able to have the infected tooth and my wisdom teeth removed on the same day. I was unbelievably nervous, but I didn’t experience any pain. I’m grateful I didn’t have to be put under. That lowered the cost. Dr. Kaminsky had the best possible bedside manner, which truly is a rare find in dentistry.

If I could give Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental more stars, I would! She has to be the best dentist in the Scarsdale, NY area. I refer everyone I know to her. Oddly enough, my friends and I all had terrible dentist phobia and hated the idea of going to a clinic. And then a coworker referred me to Dr. Murphy’s office. Now my friends and I actually look forward to our checkups and cleanings. The staff here are so friendly, and everyone at each step of your visit seems to genuinely care for their patients. One of the hygienists joked with me during the entire cleaning which calmed my nerves. Dr. Murphy has completely changed my perception of a dentist office. My wait times at this clinic have been very short which is shocking due to how many people tend to cycle through. This clinic is easily five stars! Thank you, Dr. Murphy.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

Dr. Rafya Sandhu and the staff at Westbury Dental Center offer phenomenal care and service. While I know some of the staff personally, this was my first time as a patient. I came in for an emergency visit, and they were able to fit me in immediately. Dr. Sandhu and her staff exhibited a combination of skill and humor that eased my growing anxiety. The follow-up care I received was just as pleasant as the original experience. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Margaret Drozdowski Maule attended St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. I am so thrilled that I came here. The receptionist is incredibly personable. Dr. Kaufman was extremely meticulous but patient when working on my teeth. He accommodated all of my needs. The staff made sure that I wasn't in any discomfort or pain. The specialist who did my root canal was wonderful. I am very happy with the services I received at Dr. Kaufman’s Clinic. Even though it was a pretty busy day, they were able to provide high-quality care and punctual appointments.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but Dr. Mangiaracina deserves every last bit of praise. She is highly professional and knowledgeable, which is evident in her demeanor. She is also genuinely passionate about her job, which really puts you at ease. I’ve had multiple dentists botch their work in the past because they don’t really care about what they are doing, but Dr. Mangiaracina is different. She not only a wonderful doctor but also a wonderful human being. I give Dr. Mangiaracina my highest recommendation. The entire staff is great. They pay attention to detail and remain professional.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I had a great first visit to BH Franklin Dental. I’m so grateful to have found them after deciding to change dentists. I loved that no one tried to pressure me into buying services I didn’t actually need like Invisalign, teeth whitening, veneers or laser treatments. My previous office tried to sell these things like they were car salesmen. The staff at BH Franklin Dental wonderful. The receptionist was very personable. She promptly took my insurance info and helped me through the paperwork. My hygienist was the best I’ve ever had. Plus, Dr. Nina Babayev was trustworthy and kind. My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and I look forward to remaining his patient. The office girls and hygienists are very nice.

Just went to Dr. Borgella’s office after several years of not going regularly to get a checkup or cleaning. Dr. Borgella and the hygienist were professional and went above and beyond explaining the procedures. They did a great job developing my surgery plan and even did it the same day! So long as I live in Bronx, I will definitely be back for any future dental work.

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. But the friendly office staff convinced me to stay, and I’m glad I did. The staff and technicians were kind and professional. They made me feel totally comfortable. I’ve been a patient here for a long time, but I just had my first filling ever done. I almost made it 25 years without one. Getting a filling was easier than getting a tattoo, which is something I couldn’t believe. The dentist and the dental assistants were gentle. My comfort was their top priority. They go things done fast, clean, and I had zero pain during the whole thing. I love this place, and look forward to having them as my forever dentist in Corona, Queens.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

Initially, I had no idea where the office was because I'm new to the Jackson Heights area. So, I had to call back a few times to get directions. The Queens Central Dental staff was so patient with me, helping guide me to the office. I filled out a few papers, and was taken back almost immediately. When I was taken back, I was greeted by friendly and very caring staff that were very gentle while taking my x-rays. They thoroughly explained everything was going to happen during the check-up, and I sat for only a few minutes before Dr. Ames came in to give me my exam. They too were very friendly, caring, and informed. They explained to me about what was going on with my teeth. I didn't have to ask a think, which was great. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I have had the same dentist my entire life, but after marrying a Marine and moving away from home, I could no longer see my favorite; Dr. Ames thus had big shoes to fill, but I must say... so far, he's knocking it out of the park! When leaving, they gave me a bag, a tumbler cup, a nail file, and... A FLOWER! I couldn’t believe it! It's the little things in life that count! Queens Central Dental truly cares about their patients, which shows in their thoughtful attitudes and actions. So, if you're looking for a dentist, I HIGHLY recommend these guys!

After earning his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery, Dr. Shivareddy entered the DDS program at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree. If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. After my appointment, the doctor went over with me a personalized treatment plan they had drafted to decide what should be done next. I will definitely be back soon.

Dr. Azbel has been impeccable. The staff at Lucky Dental are so personable, informative, and attentive. I love my visits so far to this clinic; my teeth cleanings have been great. I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

It had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, but I needed to go, so I chose Glendale Dental. Having recently acquired dental insurance, I scheduled a cleaning and X-ray. When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. It was nice to see someone genuinely concerned with my oral health. I was curious about what to do better, and he eagerly provided very helpful advice. I’ll receive a reminder in 6 months when it is time to come back in for another cleaning. It’s very convenient to schedule appointments. Dr. Cukier is a hardworking, high-class professional.
