Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Merit Scholarship as well as the Clark Foundation Scholarship, among other honors. Before joining the Connecticut Dental Group, he was a consulting dentist with MetLife Insurance Company.

Today, Dr. Azar is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association(CSDA), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I’m so glad I found Stuart Kaminsky DDS. Having been back for at least 5 appointments, I can honestly say that each time I left feeling clean. The staff is incredibly kind. They know their craft and don’t try to upsell you. Dr. Kaminsky is trustworthy and honest when recommending procedures and care. I personally love this level of honesty in a provider. My hygienist is great as well. She answers my questions and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I appreciate her patience. I never feel rushed when I’m in the chair. Dr. Laura Huling finds one of the most fulfilling parts of being a dentist teaching children to have a life-long appreciation for dentistry and oral health. Dr. Huling earned her BA in biology from Hamilton College, then went on to attend the University of Connecticut dental school. There, she became involved with the school's pediatric dental program and gained experience treating children with varying conditions. Upon graduating. Dr. Huling was recognized for being the best dental student in her class, as well as the student with the most promising future, and was awarded the Fox award and the pediatric dentistry award. Today, she is a member of the AAPD and the ADA. She has privileges to practice at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

I took a slight hiatus from the dental office due to my own laziness, not due to a bad experience. I scheduled back with Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental at her Scarsdale, NY office. She walked by me in the hallway and immediately knew my name. I noticed the main office has expanded, which makes sense due to the incredible environment she promotes and the level of professionalism she works with. I hardly even sat down before I was called back, and I was seen by the dentist a few minutes later. If you aren’t delighted with your current dentist, you should give this office a try.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

After moving to New York, I knew I needed a new dentist. Since I didn’t know many locals, I turned to the internet for help. After quite a bit of research, I decided upon Dr. Rafya Sandhu. I told her that I needed a new retainer but mentioned I didn’t really care for the traditional wire retainer. She recommended a night guard as an alternative. I love it. Unlike traditional retainers, the night guard is invisible. I can wear it, and others won’t even notice. I highly recommend Dr. Sandhu of Westbury Smile Center.

I recently moved to Levittown, NY, but after doing my research I am happy I found a great dentist. Island Smile Dental is great. The front office person is very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. I have my first appointment next week, and I am actually excited about it. I have a feeling I made the right choice, simply based on the great dental care I received so far.

I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!

This is a fantastic dental office. I needed a new dentist in Glen Oaks, and I found Everlasting Smiles Dental thanks to my insurance provider. I couldn’t be more pleased! Dr. Afridi and his staff are so kind and friendly. My daughter and I had appointments scheduled, and we both loved it. They put us at ease, and my dental hygienist was so professional. She was so sweet and told me what she was doing. Dr. Afridi was awesome, too. I was thankful that they checked when our last X-rays were to figure out if there would be any insurance discrepancies. Before we left, they made us appointments for out 6 month checkup. I highly suggest you check out this office if you need a new dentist!

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

My family has been going to Dr. Borgella for the past three years since moving to the Bronx area. My daughter and son in law convinced us to go to Dr. Borgella as they felt they were the best dentist ever. So glad we listened to them, and headed over to Reginald Borgella DDS. Best front staff, hygienists are gentle but very thorough and the absolute best team for all dental work. We were with no wait and I find I do not dread spending time in the dentist chair, weird! Sounds too good to be true, but I assure you they are great!

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but Dr. Mangiaracina deserves every last bit of praise. She is highly professional and knowledgeable, which is evident in her demeanor. She is also genuinely passionate about her job, which really puts you at ease. I’ve had multiple dentists botch their work in the past because they don’t really care about what they are doing, but Dr. Mangiaracina is different. She not only a wonderful doctor but also a wonderful human being. I give Dr. Mangiaracina my highest recommendation. The entire staff is great. They pay attention to detail and remain professional.

Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

The last dentist I went to was pretty rude, so my opinion of Elite Dental might be biased a little bit. Having said that, I highly respect Dr. Isakharov and staff. I had some sores near the corners of my mouth that have bothered me off and on for the last couple of years. I had always treated them as cold sores, but Dr. Isakharov said no and gave me an over-the-counter treatment option that has cleared it right up. The cleaning technique was so gentle - no cranking my jaw open or twisting my neck around. The previous dentist hadn’t been nearly as considerate. Quite pleased with the service I received.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Anyone in Rego Park should come to Dr. Thomopoulos!

I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist in 6 months. I went to Queens Dental Care after receiving a promotional flyer and reading some online reviews. I had an X-ray and comprehensive exam, including a consult with Dr. Sandhu. I received a referral to an oral surgeon and was able to book a cleaning. The hygienist used an anesthetic agent because I have very sensitive gums. The clean, cozy office and kind staff made this place worth the visit. I was also impressed that they have a membership option for patients like me who are without dental insurance. I love Queens Dental Care.

Highly recommend this office! I am so fearful of the dentist and was immediately put at ease. I have never had a better dental appointment in Queens.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I felt that I had to tell everyone how wonderful Dr. Azbel is. After moving to Rego Park, I needed a new dentist. I turned to online reviews, and I hope that by writing this I’m paying it forward to someone else who needs a dentist. I had a thorough but painless appointment, and I got to listen to music in my headphones as they worked. That was pretty sweet. The appointment felt like it took no time at all. The whole staff is kind, and they clearly love their jobs. The billing staff does a great job working with you to explain the cost of treatment plans. They are great at answering questions, too! I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

I met Dr. Cukier for the first time this week. Thankfully, he saw me right away. I didn’t have to wait very long. The receptionist was wonderful too. I am probably the worst patient. But when I found Dr. Shay and Shay Dental right here in New York, I feel so much more comfortable on my trips to the dentist. I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. After over two decades in New York, I finally found a dentist I actually like. Dr. Lerner’s office is cozy and inviting. Unlike other dentists, he is efficient yet still devotes a great deal of time to his patients. I appreciate that he is honest, telling you exactly what you need without trying to upsell you on something that isn't actually necessary. Unfortunately, many other local dentists do this. I had a chipped tooth, which he fixed at a very affordable rate. Although his office is a bit of a drive for me, I am happy to travel knowing that I get such good care. I had done a lot of research prior to coming to his clinic, and none of the other dentists I interacted with were as kind. I can't say that I want to go back very soon because I don't necessarily like visiting the dentist, but when I do have to return, I will definitely be giving Dr. Lerner a call.

C K Galdieri is top notch. Today was my first visit and WOW IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Dr. Galdieri and the staff were knowledgeable, informative, and super nice. I had the pleasure of working with two dental hygienists that were just as great as the front desk staff that greeted me. I decided to have a quick cosmetic thingy done on my tooth; Dr. Galdieri did such a fantastic job that I almost began to cry. I hate going to the dentist. There is always a lecture by some persnickety hygienist and front staff is usually grumpy; not the Candy Sebold DDS team – they made my day. The hygienist was so incredibly thorough and sweet. Dr. Sebold made some suggestions outside of regular treatment, but it didn’t feel like an upsell, only alternative suggestions.
