I hate going to the dentist. There is always a lecture by some persnickety hygienist and front staff is usually grumpy; not the Candy Sebold DDS team – they made my day. The hygienist was so incredibly thorough and sweet. Dr. Sebold made some suggestions outside of regular treatment, but it didn’t feel like an upsell, only alternative suggestions. Front desk staff are professional and friendly – best I have seen in Brooklyn .

I just had a wonderful experience at Albert A. Khalil DDS in South River, NJ. I accidentally chipped two of my teeth late last night, so I called them this morning. They said they didn’t have any appointments but said they’d ask Dr. Khalil if he could fit me in somehow. A couple of hours after that, they called back and said they could see me between appointments. Dr. Khalil and his staff were very inviting and competent. I got out of there in less an hour, and I only paid $350, which I thought was very little because I have awful dental coverage. I’m so happy with the experience, and my teeth look great! Hopefully, the work he did lasts a long time.

I’m new to Brooklyn and finding a dentist has been overwhelming. Dr. Kalyanaraman was recommended to me by a coworker. I hadn’t had a thorough cleaning in a while, but Dr. Kalyanaraman was very personable and put me at ease. Dr. Kalyanaraman is passionate about his work, and his office and dental staff are as well. The office operates so efficiently, filing the insurance forms electronically and handling all the paperwork:) He is also eco-friendly. I love that!

I am delighted with Dr. Rosen. This has to be the most excellent dental clinic I have been to in my whole life. Everything is so clean, and the environment promoted in this office is so fun loving. The staff as a whole are fantastic. They give you a tour of everything on your first visit. This crew’s goal is to provide you with an extremely comfortable experience while keeping your dental health at the forefront. They do incredible restorative and preventative work, and I’m actually looking forward to returning next week to this Cedarhurst, NY office.

Glendale Dental is a great place. I don’t like going to the dentist, but I love coming to Glendale Dental for my regular cleanings. The one-of-a-kind staff is hospitable and informative. Dr. Robert Cukier is extremely gentle and encourages questions. I can’t say enough good things about Glendale Dental. If you have sensitive teeth or dental anxiety, this is the place for you. You’ll love it.

I get really nervous when it comes to going to the dentist, so I have put it off for multiple years. During previous regular check-ups, my dentist would use topical anesthesia to numb my gums so that I wouldn't feel anything. At my first appointment with Dr. Azbel, I let the staff know about my extreme fear of dentists, even during a simple cleaning. They made me feel very comfortable and secure. I normally would have opted for some music or a show as a distraction, but I didn't need to. I didn't even need the numbing. I was very impressed with how professional the staff is. They certainly know their stuff. I'm so grateful to have found such a capable dentist. I will be a regular patient. My teeth have never looked as good as they do after going to Lucky Dental.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

The very thought of having my wisdom teeth extracted was enough to throw me into a spiral of anxiety. Since I had never had any kind of oral surgery before, I had no clue what to expect when getting my wisdom teeth removed. the staff at Dr. Lerner’s practice were very personable and efficient. The dental assistants put me at ease thanks to their positive attitudes. Dr. Lerner explained the process to me in great detail. He explained that I would need two wisdom teeth removed and said that he could do it that day if I wanted him to. His confidence and reassurance comforted me, and I agreed. He did the procedure in less than an hour, and I didn't experience any pain. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Lerner for all my future dental appointments.

The last dentist I went to was pretty rude, so my opinion of Elite Dental might be biased a little bit. Having said that, I highly respect Dr. Isakharov and staff. I had some sores near the corners of my mouth that have bothered me off and on for the last couple of years. I had always treated them as cold sores, but Dr. Isakharov said no and gave me an over-the-counter treatment option that has cleared it right up. The cleaning technique was so gentle - no cranking my jaw open or twisting my neck around. The previous dentist hadn’t been nearly as considerate. Quite pleased with the service I received.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

Dr. Sandhu and her team at Queens Dental Care are life-changing. As a mom, it’s a bit embarrassing to get braces, but they explained everything in a very detailed manner and graciously accommodated me when I needed to cancel or reschedule appointments. The staff is great with kids. My son has had to come along to my appointments, and they don’t mind at all. Queens Dental Care is the best place in Jackson Heights, NY to go for all your dental needs.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

This is my second trip to Armstrong Dental Studio for more than just a regular cleaning. This time I had a root canal and crown done on the same tooth, but no worries, it was completely pain free! They all did great checking up on me, even Dr. Armstrong himself called me the next day. He was awesome about checking on how I was doing during the entire process. They do not try to upsell you like many other businesses in New York. They do what needs to be done efficiently and honestly, with a real concern for their patients. My whole immediate family gets their work done there. The staff is very accommodating and efficient, especially when handling emergency situations. They also offer more specialist services in the office on certain days of the week, so you never have to worry about outsourcing other offices or services. The office workers are also very helpful financially. When insurance doesn’t cover a procedure, the staff doesn’t hesitate to explain the best course of action in paying off bills, and they are very understanding and realistic when it comes to what’s urgent and what’s not. They have been a huge help in paying for our dental procedures. I wouldn’t go to any other dentist and I tell all my friends and family to use Shay Dental. The studio is well-kept and up-to-date, the workers are friendly and welcoming, and the work itself is perfect.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental is very efficient. It’s very easy to schedule appointments promptly. They also have the newest technology. I needed some corrections on my teeth, and they allowed me to come in early because of my schedule. Conveniently located in Franklin Park, BH Franklin Dental gives you a positive dental experience.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. I met Dr. Mangiaracina after being referred to a friend after another dentist told me I needed a bunch of procedures done. Dr. Mangiaracina confirmed I needed a filling but told me the rest of the procedures were excessive. She was very understanding. My dental plan even knew that this was a great dental office. The entire staff is welcoming. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I hate visiting the dentist so much that I haven’t been in years, but when I finally decided it was time to come in I was very anxious when I came in for my first visit at Academy Dental in Hamilton, NJ. I’ve been having a lot of toothaches and wanted to see what was going on. The staff strived to make comfortable and were very kind. I was only in there for two hours, but they found the problem and fixed it right away. I had imagined that this would be just an assessment and then I would have to make another appointment to get the work done, but they were able to get it all done then and there. I went back a week ago for a cleaning and some fillings and everything was super easy. I'm so happy to no longer be in pain because of toothaches, and my teeth look and feel great. I used to wince at the thought of going to the dentist, but since coming to Dr. Kaufman's practice, I find going to the dentist to be a very pleasurable experience. The location is very convenient. The staff is very comforting and personable. Dr. Kaufman patiently answers questions and discusses any concerns. I appreciate the fact that he makes sure each of his patients is informed about his/her procedures. I even convinced my boyfriend to schedule an appointment. He has been to the same dentist for over a decade but decided to switch, and now he wishes he had made the change a long time ago. The last place a friend referred to me did not do a great job, I left that place still in pain. They also always claimed there was nothing wrong with my teeth. I finally called Hamilton Smiles to give them a try and as soon as they heard about my pain they scheduled me in for an emergency appointment the same day. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly when I walked in. Dr. Goyal was able to immediately recognize that the pain was caused by nerve bruising and a fissure in my filling. She started working on it right way. Thanks to her I can finally chew without any pain, and my teeth feel awesome! I’ve already recommended her to all my friends, best dentist in Hamilton, NJ!

Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.
